Scissortail Dartfish
The Scissortail Dartfish has a marvellous unique body shape and a unique personality that is always seen as an unique fish to house. In the wild, the Scissortail Dartfish are usually found in groups swimming by the reef, eating food that drifts by in the current.
Requirements
It should be housed in a 100 litre or larger aquarium with plenty of loose coral rubble, and a tight-fitting lid to prevent it from jumping out of the tank.
Suggestions
Many hobbyists suggest that Scissortail Dartfish should be given ample swimming room and a deep sandy bottom as it is said that they like to burrow caves to hide in. Additionally, It is stated that they will rarely become aggressive towards other fish, but are territorial, and will fight with its own kind unless they are a mated pair.
Feeding
The Scissortail Dartfish diet should include chopped or shaved seafood, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp.

This guy is great. He’s created a home under one of my rocks and is always sticking his head out waiting for food. He’s a great addition. Glad I got him.
these do best when kept in a pair. otherwise can be really shy
