Picasso Clownfish
The Picasso Clownfish may be one of the aquarium industry's more popular Clownfish. The Picasso's are beautiful fish which exhibit extra white mainly on their center stripe. Each individual fish is unique and hand-selected by experienced graders. These fish are graded on the amount of white present, the oddness of the striping, and the rarity of the markings.
Requirements
These Clownfish have a unique advantage over other species, as they are generally very hardy and more accustomed to conditions found in the home aquarium. Therefore, Picasso's and Clownfish in general make a great choice for novices and seasoned aquarists alike.
Suggestions
Many suggest that the Picasso Clownfish is also easy to breed in the home aquarium. The females will be the largest of the pair and the two fish will usually stay close to each other in the aquarium. The Clownfish will deposit the eggs on a flat surface and defend the eggs from other tankmates. The eggs will normally hatch in 8-11 days depending on the water temperature.
Feeding
This Clownfish is an aggressive eater. It will accept most meaty foods and frozen herbivore preparations.
