Green Mushrooms
The Green Mushrooms are an amazing metallic green that transform into a mind-blowing fluorescent green when under actinic lighting which will add a unique burst of colour to any reef aquarium. These mushrooms will reproduce through formulating a carpet covering the live rock and sand, and before you know it will form into a colony which will be a talking point of any aquarium.
Requirements
The Green Mushrooms are relatively easy to maintain due to their hardy nature and ability to handle changes in water parameters and conditions. It should also be noted if these are housed in a reef aquarium with a lot of SPS and therefore a extremely intense lighting system, they should be placed at the bottom of the tank. Additionally, it is important to not have an exceptionally high flow going onto these mushrooms as it may aggravate them into relocating in the aquarium and not expanding as fully as they should.
Suggestions
These mushrooms hold a semi-aggressive temperament and therefore do have the ability to sting corals and invertebrates that are in their way. Therefore, it is crucial that when placing these mushrooms there is ample room around them to eradicate this issue.
Feeding
Though this coral will attain the majority of its nutritional requirements from the lighting through photosynthesis, it will also benefit from additional food sources in the form of brine shrimp or micro-plankton.

Just got this today and all I can say is “I’m impressed!” We bought the medium and there are 20 heads on the rock! No fish store I have been to has this quality or quantity! Everything we bought acclimated like we just bought it from the fish store down the street!
These under the blues are just stunning to look at. Really love these.
Keeping green mushrooms can sometimes be confusing. I’ve had the very same problem with blue mushrooms, a few of mine are the size of a 20p piece been like that for nearly a year, but the then some of my others are 3inches and grow like wild fire. So I think it is a little hit and miss with how they are going to turn out in each aquarium.
