Hi all,
I have an Aqua one Nano 60 with a small Aqua one power head.
I have read that a powerful wavemaker set to low power would be the best option, and was thinking of a RW4 or 8.
I have SPS and a Bubble Tip Anemone, but would also like to add something like a touch coral too.
What cheap wavemaker would you recommend for this size tank and why?
Thanks
I use a vortech mp10qd in my 18” cube running at 45% and it performs superbly. I would of thought it would be fine in your display running at a higher rate and would highly recommend one.
I have 2 aqua nano 60 tanks. I run 2 rw4 in each tank on their lowest settings. You could probably get away with just one if it was turned up ? If you get them off eBay you can get 2 for the price of a single one from a lfs.
Hope you don’t mind me jumping in at the end .. i’ve just been doing some research on the very same subject.
I am a newbie to the hobby so take this as you like but i’ve decided on the “TMC reef-tide 6000 Compact”.
Its not super expensive and has some neat wavemaking options through the controller and you can throttle it back to suit your needs.
