Tagged: cleaner blood shrimp
I have just added a cleaner shrimp and blood shrimp to my tank yesterday, and already today both have shedded. Could that mean my water quality is bad? Is there anything I can do? or anything to watch out for?
Thanks
I’ve always heard this process called “molting” and it is normal, and to be expected.
The shrimp is a little vulnerable right now, so expect to see it hiding more then usual. .
Assuming the shrimp has a decent diet and acceptable water parameters, normal behavior should return after a couple of hours.
